Annas crispy “pepparkakor”, or ginger thins, have been baked to the same recipe since 1929 when two sisters, Anna and Emma Karlsson, opened a home bakery in the Östermalm district of Stockholm. Almost 100 years later, Annas are Sweden’s most loved ginger thins and are sold worldwide.
Delicious thin biscuits that can either be eaten on their own or topped with whatever takes your fancy such as cheese or lemon curd. Try crumbling them up to use in a cheesecake base or use to top yoghurt or ice cream.
Ingredients
Wheat flour, sugar, vegetable oils (palm, rapeseed, coconut), syrup, salt, raising agent (sodium hydrogen carbonate), cinnamon, ginger, cloves. May contain traces of almonds.
