We make our pistachio butter from Greek pistachios, imported from our local grower in the raw state. At first glance, pistachios are different from commonly available nuts in supermarkets. Their colour changes from deep green to purple, and their size is significantly larger than large-scale pistachios.
When pistachios come to us, we roast them ourselves only with the help of hot air, without the use of any fat. In this way, we can maintain the exceptional taste and quality, and at the same time achieve a fine creamy consistency of the resulting pistachio butter. After roasting, it is extremely important to keep the exact time between roasting and grinding. This time can significantly affect the final form and taste of the spread.
Our pistachio butter was the only one of its kind to receive the highest possible award – 3 gold stars at the prestigious international competition Great Taste Awards 2019.
100% pistachio butter does not contain any sugar, salt, palm or other fat, preservatives or other ingredients. It is also gluten-free and therefore also suitable for celiacs. We recommend storing in a dark and dry place, at room temperature. After opening, we recommend mixing and consuming within 60 days.
